Why PE is Key to Academic Success

Pupils striving for academic success at school are far more likely to succeed if they take a full and active part in PE lessons, Welsh research reveals today.

It shows parents who readily write out sick notes for their children so that they can escape games sessions can be harming learning development at a young age.

The new study shows that taking part in physical education, even if you are not naturally good at games, can make a big difference to academic results at primary school stage.
