Organising Activities in your Community

Recreation & Interest Groups

To organise tap dancing, tai chi and pilatesYou might not think it, but we may have a lot in common! Just like you, we’re looking out for people’s wellbeing - the only difference is how we’re doing it.

Our bread and butter is exercise and fitness. Yours might be the environment, local history, education, crime prevention or any number of other pursuits centred around your community.

The common factor is people. Whatever it is you’re offering through your group, the chances are you’re enhancing people’s lives. From the WI through to Weight Watchers, from Girl Guides through to dance groups, in some way shape or form, you’re there to make a difference.

That’s why we share a sense of purpose.

By introducing physical activity into your meetings, you’ll be helping your members and strengthening your group. Whether you offer dance classes, aerobics, table tennis or yoga, adding a fitness element can focus everyone’s mind and renew your members’ sense of purpose.
