The Future Blues comprises of thirteen Development Officers, with each Officer having clearly defined areas and age grades to work with in Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, South Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr Tydfil local authorities that make up the Blues region.

Dragon Sport and Blues Development Officers will be overseeing and delivering support to teachers and providing hands-on coaching to the pupils.

Both players are supporting the Future Blues programme as it filters into eight Dragon Sport primary schools in the Cardiff area from September, including Llanishen Fach on September 26th, and October 3rd and 10th and at St Fagans on September 18th and 25th, and October 2nd and 9th.

Other Dragon Sport primary schools set to be involved in the programme between September and December are Coryton, Fairwater, Hawthorn, Hyweldda, St Francis and Windsor Clive.

And the autumn term is set to provide ample opportunity for children across other regions of Wales to get their hands on the oval ball.

Merthyr Tydfil local authority will hosted a Dragon Sport Rugby World Cup day on 19th September at Grove Field, Aberfan.
