The Welsh Assembly Government and the Sports Council for Wales are looking for individuals who can contribute to the delivery of the strategy for sport and physical activity: Climbing Higher. You will be expected to have a genuine interest in and knowledge of sport and physical activity and their target audiences.

As a Council Member you will need a proven track record at a senior level in one or more of the following fields:

• Administration of sport/physical activity at elite/community level;
• Marketing and communications, including experience of working with the media;
• Finance and/or accounting;
• Education;
• Research and evaluation.

Council Members are expected to be available to work around 2 days per month. Further information about the Sports Council for Wales can be obtained from its website.

The appointments will be for an initial period of 3 years. Council Members are remunerated at the rate of £264 per day. Are you interested in applying for any of these posts?
