Total Teamwear – the UK’s leading supplier of Italian label Errea – has come on board to supply a bespoke range of leisurewear to athletes supported by the lottery funded scheme which is aimed at providing the most highly promising élite and potentially élite athletes from non-Olympic sports with the support they need to achieve their potential.

The partnership is just one in a long-line of affiliations struck by Total Teamwear in Wales who currently supply the Coca-Cola Rhondda Rebels & Pontypridd Rugby with their stock of game and leisurewear. They can also count Disability Sport Wales, University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC), the Sports Council for Wales and Welsh Athletics among their Wales based client roster.

They were also recruited as Official leisurewear partners to the Team Wales assault at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games last year.

The latest deal will see Élite Cymru athletes kitted out from top-to-toe in specifically designed leisurewear that includes tracksuits, t-shirts, polo shirts and backpacks.

Director of Total Teamwear, Andrew Tynan said:

"Following the success of our sponsorship of the Team Wales leisurewear at the Melbourne Games we are truly proud to continue our tradition of supporting Welsh sport and active living by signing this new partnership with Élite Cymru. The partnership is testament to both our core expertise and the top-quality products we represent."

Chair of the Sports Council for Wales, Philip Carling said:

"We are delighted to announce that Total Teamwear has come on board as official leisurewear partner to the Élite Cymru scheme. We have formed a strong relationship with the supplier over the last year as they continue to provide our staff and project coordinators throughout Wales with their extensive range of leisurewear. We look forward to working with them and developing our relationship in the future."
